Samsung keeps on updating its smartphone list whether it comes to flagship or budget category. This time as well Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone in the market known as the Samsung Galaxy J8. Samsung has first introduced J-series to launch its budget specific handsets. However, this device has decreased the gap between a flagship and a budget-centric handset. Samsung Galaxy J8 comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-Core processor coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU for Gaming. The device will be only made available in a single variant: 4GB RAM+64GB ROM. It supports expandable storage up to 256GB via micro-SD card. Galaxy J8 runs on a custom Samsung Experience UI based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It is a Dual-SIM handset and possesses a Fingerprint Scanner in the rear department.
In the Display segment, it has a massive 6.0(inch) HD+ Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels, 18.5:9 aspect ratio. In the Camera department, there is a Dual 16MP+5MP rear shooter with Aperture f/1.7, LED Flash whereas in the front a 16MP snapper with Aperture f/1.9, LED Flash is there for selfies. Galaxy J8 gets juice from a big 3500mAh battery and almost all essential features including 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS are supported by it.
It comes with a price tag of 18,990 INR, however, ICICI debit/credit card and Paytm mall users will be offered a 2000 Rupees cashback. The smartphone will be made available in Blue, Black, and Gold colors.
