Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 starts receiving April’s Android security Patch. The new firmware update comes with the version number to J710FXXU3AQD4. The update is a minor one with just security patch in it.
The update weighs around 26MB in size which includes The new April security patch does bring important fixes for almost 49 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the Android OS as well as fixes for 16 vulnerabilities in Samsung’s own software. However, currently the update is only hitting the Indian Units of Samsung Galaxy J7 2016. It will be rolled out in other markets as well but we did not have any information about that yet.
The update is rolling out over the air. So it might take some time to reach each and every unit of Galaxy J7 2016. Meanwhile you can check for the update manually by going through the settings>>about phone>>software updates.
