The Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 2017 which launches on June 6, 2017. Now they are making their way to be in the hands of buyers in different regions. The duo have appeared on Samsung’s official Austrian website.
Further, the listing shows the two devices in Black, Blue and Gold colors. Also, this year we have the glass metal design on these two mid-range devices. The listing does not reveal the price.
Quickly running through the specs, the bigger brother sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display and houses a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chip. The Galaxy J7 2017 has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. As far as the camera is concerned, the Galaxy J7 and J5 both share the 13 MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 13 MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture. Both devices also have fingerprint scanners and run Android Nougat. MicroSD cards up to 256 GB are supported by both the handsets.
Coming to the Galaxy J5 2017, it also sports the same Exynos 7870 SoC, but has 1 GB less RAM than its bigger brother. The handset has a smaller screen of 5.2-inches full HD Super AMOLED display. The device gets its nutrition from the 3,000 mAh battery.
Currently, the price is not available in Austria. If we go with the launch price, the Galaxy J5 2017 was priced at 280 Euros, while the Galaxy J7 2017 was priced at 340 Euros. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Samsung keep the device around the same prices.
