Samsung might be rolling out Android Nougat update to Galaxy J5 2015 in November. It is confirmed in a revised list of devices which will get Nougat update. Samsung Galaxy J5 2015 with model number SM-J500F will starts receiving Nougat update from November 3rd 2017.
Earlier there were leaks in which Galaxy J5 2015 is not included in the list. But Now this is the good news for the Galaxy J5 users. The update might be around 1.5 GB in size and include all the goodies of Android 7.0 Nougat. Which are New Multi-window allows the user to switch between apps with a double tap or run two apps side by side. More personalized settings and smarter notifications allow users to be more productive with less effort. It also includes the enhanced version of Doze.
For a reminder, Samsung Galaxy J5 2015 packs with 5.00-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It powers with 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor which is paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The storage is upgradable up to 128 GB via MicroSD card. It runs on Android 6.0.1 out of the box.
