In terms of new smartphone launches, Samsung is extremely active these days in the market. A few days back we have witnessed the new Galaxy S9/S9+ devices and now a new member has been added to their family. Samsung has just released its Galaxy J2(2018) in the Indian market, this is the successor to the last year’s J2 device and packs a lot of new offerings. The device has an all-new design and specs as well. So let’s check out more about its availability and specifications.
Samsung Galaxy J2(2018)(SM-J250F) is a new budget device from the Korean giant, Samsung was silent in the budget segment for a while but now a new device in J-series has been presented. The device comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425(64 bit) Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz coupled with 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 308 GPU is there for Gaming. The handset offers 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB’s via micro-SD card.
Galaxy J2(2018) runs on Samsung’s homegrown Experience UI based on the Android 7.1 Nougat. In the Display department, there is a 5.0(inch) Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. In terms of Camera, it houses an 8MP shooter in the rear with LED Flash while in the front a 5MP snapper is present with a LED Flash too. It is a Dual-SIM handset and offers all basic features including 4G VoLte connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, FM Radio, etc. It runs on a satisfactory 2600mAh battery. As mentioned above Samsung has refined the overall design, some noticeable changes are there in the rear and front of the device.
The device will be made available in Pink, Gold, and Black colors for a price tag of 8,190 INR. Considering the specifications handset is overpriced, however, it will be made available in stores from 27th of April.
