Samsung Galaxy GEAR is coming, its officially confirmed by Samsung Executive Vice-President of Mobile Business, Lee Young-hee in an interview with The Korea Times. The Galaxy Gear would indeed be unveiled in Berlin on Sept. 4 two days ahead of the IFA conference opening.
Above interview uncovered some aspects of the watch like – it would not be packed with flexible display as flexible displays are still just in concept stages according to Young-hee. He further added that the company was also preparing for future wearable products that may include this (flexible display) technology.
The rumoured specifications of the alleged Galaxy Gear smart watch include a 1.5GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos 4212 processor with 1GB of RAM. It will reportedly feature a 1.67-inch AMOLED display that will feature a resolution of 320×320 pixels.
