Quietly, Samsung has announced its new version of projector phone known as Galaxy Beam 2. The smartphone has been officially listed on the company’s website. It was revealed a month ago that Galaxy Beam’s successor is coming as we got the TENAA certification listing.
Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 Packs a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, no mention of RAM, and a 4.66-inch 800×480 display. Even the Android version running on it is a slightly older Android 4.2.2. Camerawise, Galaxy Beam is packed with a 5 MP camera and in connectivity device have Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microSD card slot.
Similar to the original Galaxy Beam, the Beam 2 features a built-in projector that can project images and videos onto a surface. The projector features a WVGA resolution and comes with background colour correction along with exclusive utilities like Notepad.

The Beam 2 is slightly heavier at 165 g, but is a tad thinner at 11.64mm compared to the older sibling at 145g and 12.5mm. Samsung Galaxy Beam2 will be available on China Mobile and it’s yet to be seen if Samsung launches it globally.
