Samsung Galaxy A8s has the peculiarity of being Samsung’s first Infinity-O display flaunting device. The device, however, is a China-focused product and plausibly available in Taiwan too. Initially, Samsung made available the device in three colour options having a gradient finish. Now, Samsung has launched Galaxy A8s Unicorn Edition which is nothing but the standard Galaxy A8s with fancy gradient colours to attract females.

The Galaxy A8s Unicorn Edition (alias Female Edition) offers two gradient color options of pink yellow and pink blue. Samsung has probably opted the eve of Valentine’s Day to launch the Galaxy A8s with such fancy colors. The Unicorn Edition is priced at 2799 Yuan (~$412), which is now available for purchase on JD.com – one of the largest e-commerce vendor in China.
In case if you missed it, the Galaxy A8s is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 616 GPU. It features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) Infinity-O display having an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. With 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, you need not to worry about the storage getting filled very soon. As a bummer for some, the device doesn’t possess 3.5 mm jack buddy. Nonetheless, Samsung bundles a Type-C earphone in the box which is worth appreciation.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy A8s boasts a triple camera setup. The trio is composed of a 24MP primary sensor, 10MP telephoto sensors with 2X optical zoom and 5MP depth sensor. While on the front resides a 24MP shooter with a new fancy software feature dubbed as “Magic Mirror”. Last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy A8s Unicorn Edition measures 158 x 74 x 7.4 mm and weighs over 173 grams.
