According to the images leaked, it seems that the device size will be quite similar to Galaxy S21 Plus. The pictures suggest that the phone will be made out of metal and feature a flawless matte finish. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the handset. At the bottom edge, there is a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a microphone. The SIM tray is spotted on the top of the phone.
Reportedly, the Galaxy A82 will flaunt curved edges with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display carrying a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness. The device is developed with plus IP67 water and dust resistance and Dolby Atmos audio. Also, the screen will indulge an in-display fingerprint sensor within.
The users will get all the features from the very beginning as the new smartphone is likely to ship with the latest Android 11 out of the box. It will power Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The memory will be expandable as there is support for a microSD card slot.
Moving to the shooting department, the Galaxy A82 is said to employ a triple rear camera module consisting of a 64MP primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), a 12-megapixel secondary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and another 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The device will be packing a 4,500 mAh battery that supports up to 25W of fast charging.
The rumored Samsung handset is tipped to be bundled with a charger and a USB Type-A to Type-C cable. Presumably, the Galaxy A82 will launch on April 23 and will go for pre-order this week. Initially, the device may be limited to South Korea as there is no record for sale in other regions.
