Samsung is now rolling out the latest stable version of Android Nougat 7.0 to its mid range device, the Samsung Galaxy A7 2017. The Galaxy A7 was launched earlier this year with Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box.
The Nougat update is rolling out with the firmware version A720FXXU2BQGB  and it is sized at approximately 1.4 GB. Samsung rolled out the update to the Galaxy A3 devices in Russia a weeks back and it is now rolling out the OTA update to Thailand.
You can manually check for the update on your phone by going to Settings->About phone->System updates. If you have not yet received the update, then you have to wait for a few more days till Samsung officially sends the update to your region.
The Android Nougat 7.0 update brings a lot of new features and improvements. One of the most interesting feature introduced in this update is the ability to use two different accounts for the same messaging app like Whatsapp and Viber.
The Galaxy A7 2017 also gets the generic Nougat features like multi window mode, improved doze mode, settings and notification panel revamp and overall improvements in stability and performance of the system.
