It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 (14 nm) processor coupled with 2/3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB storage. - [January 28, 2022]: Samsung is releasing a new update for Galaxy A20 in the US. The build arrives on a firmware version A205U1UESBCVA1 bundled with January 2022 security patch. Also, it resolves a lot of bugs and glitches that were present before.
- [October 19, 2021]: The unlocked variants of Galaxy A20 are receiving the October 2021 security patch update. The build arrives on the firmware version A205USQSABUJ1. The patch fixes over 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. But it does not carry any other major changes.
- [November 8, 2020]: The October 2020 Security patch update has finally started hitting the Samsung Galaxy A20 devices. The update bears the A205FXXU9BTJ5 Firmware version and comes with bug fixes, enhancements, and optimizations. As of now, there’s no official release note/ changelog from the company. So, the update might also include new add-ons & features. However, you will be undergoing them while using your smartphone if added.
- [August 30, 2020]: Samsung has started seeding out the August 2020 Security Patch update for Galaxy A20s smartphones. The update is rolling out on A207FXXU2BTH2/ A207F0DM2BTH1/ A207FXXU2BTH1 and it weighs around 310.98 MB in size. The size may vary if you have not installed the previous updates. As of now, the update is currently limited to Indian users only.According to the changelog, the update features the latest Security patch, enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements. Apart from that, no new features were added to the device. So, this update is only meant to increase the performance and stability of the smartphone.
