Samsung Galaxy A12 goes official in South Korea with MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, up for pre-orders

A couple of months back, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A12 smartphone in Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries. Now, the company has announced the same device in its own country – South Korea. As per the reports, the Galaxy A12 is expected to launch next week in the Indian markets. Before that, talking about the price, the device is priced at KRW 275,00 ($245), and it is available only in a single variant – 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage.

In terms of availability, the device is available in Black & White colour options. The phone will be available for pre-order from tomorrow (February 9) via Coupang, Gmarket, 11th Street, and the Samsung online store (website).

Samsung Galaxy A12 Specifications

The device sports a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V TFT LCD display. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset under the hood. The phone comes only in one variant – 3GB RAM with 32GB onboard storage. Furthermore, it can be expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card.

Coming to the central part – the camera, it hosts a quad rear camera setup that equips with the 48-MP primary camera, 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and other 2-MP sensors. There’s an 8-MP shooter for selfies and video calls on the front.

The Galaxy A12 packs a 5,000mAh battery with charging support up to 15W. The board’s connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Additionally, there’s also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone measures 164 x 75.8 x 8.9mm and weighs 205g.
