The Korean Giant -Samsung is struggling very hard to make its network more robust and Active by launching smartphones regularly. In a launch event today, Samsung has announced two new smartphones under the Galaxy-A series, which are named as Galaxy A02s and A12. The Galaxy A02s will be the successor or next generation of Galaxy A01, which was launched previously in December 2019. Simultaneously, Galaxy A12 will follow up with the Galaxy A11, which was introduced back in March 2019.
The 6.5-inch HD+ water-drop notch display comes with a triple rear camera setup, including a 13-MP primary camera + 2-MP depth sensor and a 2-MP Macro lens. On the front, there’s a 5-MP camera for selfies and video chats. It packs with octa-core processor based Snapdragon 450. Chipset and is clocked at 1.8GHz.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy A02s comes only in a single variant, i.e., 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. Furthermore, it can be expandable upto 1TB with a microSD card. There’s a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
The Galaxy A12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1500 pixels of resolution. The device is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor, which is clocked at 2.3GHz. As stated by many rumors, the device could be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. It is available in 3/4/6GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB onboard storage. It also has external storage, which can be expandable upto 1TB with a microSD card.
In terms of camera, it packs a quad-rear camera, which assembles with a 48-MP primary camera + 5-MP ultra-wide-angle lens + 2-MP macro lens and a 2-MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8-MP front-facing camera.
The device houses a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support upto 15W. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Moreover, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
