The Korean Technical Giant – Samsung has officially unveiled a new smartphone Globally which is named as Galaxy A02. The newly launched Galaxy A Series smartphone is a bit different from the Galaxy A02 which was launched last year. Talking about the availability, the device comes in Denim Black, Denim Blue, Denim Red, and Denim Gray color variants and it costs around Rs. 8,990.
The device runs Android 10-based One UI (Skin) out of the box and sports a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with 720 x 1560 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6739W Chipset paired with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. The device comes in 2/3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. Furthermore, it can be expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The entry-level smartphone – Galaxy A02 sports a dual rear camera that compromises of 13-MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 2-MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 5-MP single front-facing camera. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and 7.75W charging support.
The connectivity options of the smartphone include dual SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, etc. The smartphone measures 164 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs nearly 206 grams. Unfortunately, the company has not added a fingerprint scanner to the device as it’s an entry-level smartphone.
