The Xperia C3 was announced last month by Sony and was also touted as the best selfie-smartphone ever with a 5 MP camera on the front. The smartphone has now been released and Russia is the first country to get it.
The device has been made available in Russia starting today and comes with a price tag of RUB 13,990 which translates to about $290. Expect the smartphone to be available at even cheaper prices in the western market as smartphones are usually sold at a higher price in Russia than the western market.
The main selling point of the C3 is its 5 MP front facing camera unit, which they claim is the best st taking selfies. The camera is a 25mm wide lens which provides for an 80-degree filed of view. Other features include an LED flash next to the front-snapper for all those low-light moments where you wanted to click a selfie, HDR, double tapping on the back panel to click a photo and smile detection.
