Samsung launched Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge for the first time at MWC held in Barcelona this year. These two devices were flagship devices of the year by Samsung. No doubt these handsets spot good and attractive features and after the launch of Galaxy S5, many have been waiting for its successor.
Though these will not be launched globally until April 10, reports reveal that Samsung has received more than 20 million pre-orders for Samsung S6 and S6 edge combined from carriers and retailers. Company will apparently produce additional 13 million handsets by the end of April. When out for sale , company will definitely make a huge turn out. As per a report from analysts of DRAMeXchange, company may sell more than 55 million handsets of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge by the end of 2015. Samsung is forecasted to sell 22.2 million units of the S6 and S6 Edge in Q2, 16.2 million in Q3 and 12.5 million in Q4.
Taking into consideration, the fact that HTC will also launch One M9 in U.S. on same day as S6 will launch and also that LGs most awaited flagship device G4 will also be launched in mid April, Samsung won’t achieve these numbers with ease. Rumors about G4 suggest that it could be a rival to Samsung Galaxy S6
