Well, we have often observe that whenever the company isn’t running well on the tracks, the CEO if often dragged into the matter, and is much likely to get stripped off depending on what type of malicious harm the CEO has caused. We have seen the poor run maintain by HTC in 2013. Though the HTC One was a runaway hit, it couldn’t manage to boost the sales of the company alone. In 2012 alone, HTC delivered a plethora of flagship phones, which were a complete fail, making the path clean for HTC for a Epic Fail.
Now, reports are suggesting that HTC are in no mood to strip off their CEO of his position reports Focus Taiwan quoting HTC chairperson Cher Wang.
She also added that CHOU has done a great and big deal for HTC, and are in no position to remove him from his position. She noted that HTC employees must come down to earth (herself included) and continue moving forward.
“HTC has many innovative products and will continue to work to introduce our excellent products to everyone in the world,” Wang added. Cher Wang was speaking on sidelines of the Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) 2013.
The HTC one was surely a huge success, but due to some problems in aftermarket sales, most notably component shortages, it hasn’t reach to the target as they might have predicted. The only happiest thing for HTC for now is with the great response for the HTC one, with HTC completely failing in the other sectors. HTC One Mini too is taking much to break into markets, which too can be downfall for the company.
Meanwhile, The company shares have been on a downward spiral this whole year and fell 47.31 in the first eight months.
