Samsung, the South-Korean tech giant seems all set to unveil its upcoming Galaxy Note device. A recent report from some sources claims that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may launch on August 23, which is in line with a previous report that suggested late-August launch. While Samsung has not yet confirmed the launch date, rumors suggest an early launch than expected.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ sluggish sales may be the reason of an early launch. According to the report, Samsung is planning of August-end launch with shipping starting from early September. Samsung wants to gain the momentum well before Apple’s launch of its tenth anniversary iPhone in September.
The upcoming Note 8 device will sport the same ‘Infinity Display’ as Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The Note device, however, comes with an S-Pen which is an added advantage for the users. Samsung has also worked on improving Bixby, its AI service for the impending Note 8.
It remains to be seen that how Samsung will be marketing the Galaxy Note 8 after the disastrous situation created by its younger sibling, the Note 7.
