Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has confirmed that they have sold more than 320 million units of the Note Series globally. The statements made by Lu Weibing on Weibo reported that it has sold more than 300 million handsets worldwide as of the beginning of December. It is a really surprising moment for Redmi, that they have achieved a huge milestone. Xiaomi stated that the Redmi Note series sold more than 320 million devices worldwide during yesterday’s Redmi Note 12 Turbo launch event.
In short, in the previous three months, the manufacturer was able to sell 20 million units. Also, it bragged about the Redmi Note 11 becoming one of the top 10 smartphones sold globally in 2022. Additionally, the sale of Redmi Note 11 reached 18 million units last year.

Regrettably, despite what seems to be a great sales total, overall shipments have been declining over the past few quarters. In 2021, the Chinese OEM sold nearly 40 million units of the Redmi Note Series in just 5 months.
Under the Redmi Note series, Xiaomi currently offers a wide range of products in various pricing ranges. The sales of Redmi smartphone in the global market is now oversupplied. The Redmi Note 11 is ranked number eight among the top 10 selling smartphones in the world market for smartphones in 2022.
