Xiaomi has added one more smartphone under the Redmi Note 11 series in its home market: Redmi Note 11R. The latest phone is a rebranded Poco M4 5G that was launched earlier this year in India. Here’s a detailed look at the latest Note 11 series edition.
The Redmi Note 11R features a 6.58-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a Full HD+ resolution and a water drop notch. Also, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security at the side.
Under the hood, the device draws power from an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Further, the chipset is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For software, it boosts Android 12 out of the box along with a layer of MIUI 13 on top.
In the optics department, the Redmi Note 11R carries a dual camera setup at the back. The module consists of a 50MP primary unit and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there’s a 5MP lens to take selfies and video calls.
In addition to this, the company ships the device with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 10W of charging. The other notable specs include a USB Type-C port, a micro-SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, etc.
The Redmi Note 11R is up for purchase in China in three color options: Black, Grey, and Blue. The base 4GB/ 128GB model of the device costs ¥1,299 (~$183). Also, it is available in 6GB/ 128GB and 8GB/ 128GB variants that are priced at ¥1,499 (~$211) and ¥1,699 (~$239), respectively.
