Redmi has finally extended its Note 11 series in India. At a launch event today, the company unveiled two new smartphones— Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. That makes it a total of four models, including the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S. Here’s everything about the new smartphones.
Both Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G are built around a 6.67-inch OLED display. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. They run the latest Android 12 OS pre-installed along with the company’s own skin iteration MIUI 13 on top.
Moreover, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G house a 16 MP front-facing camera. A 5,000 mAh battery keeps the device’s system working with 67W fast charging support. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Also, the connectivity options on both devices are similar, including dual SIM support, microSD card slot, 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, IR blaster, USB-C, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
However, the processor and the rear camera units of Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G are different. The former model is powered by the Helio G96 chipset, while the latter one equips Snapdragon 695 SoC.
For optics, the Note 11 Pro 4G carries a quad-camera island consisting of a 108 MP primary unit. The other lenses include an 8 MP ultrawide snapper and a couple of 2 MP sensors to measure depth and macro aspects.
On the other hand, the Note 11 Pro+ 5G holds a 108 MP triple camera module. The main lens is accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide shooter and a 2 MP macro unit. FYI, this handset is rebranded as Note 11E Pro 5G in China and Note 11 Pro 5G globally.
The Note 11 Pro 4G will go on sale on March 23, while you can buy the Note 11 Pro+ 5G from March 15. The smartphones will be available to purchase via all major online stores and authorized resellers.
