Xiaomi has silently launched the Redmi K50i 5G smartphone in India today. As with other K-series devices, it is a mid-range offering. The handset packs all the essential features. The Redmi K50i is built around a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with support for Dolby Vision content. The panel offers up to 144 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color space, 650 nits brightness, and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, it is also IP53 rated for dust and splash resistance.
Under the helm, it draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, the device runs on Android 12 out of the box along with a layer of MIUI 13 on top. Moreover, there’s a LiquidCool 2.0 with 7 graphite sheets to keep the thermals under check.

The Redmi K50i will go on sale from July 23rd via Amazon. It will arrive in Quick Silver, Stealth Black, and Phantom Blue color options. The base 6GB/ 128GB model will cost ₹25,999, while the higher 8GB/ 256GB variant is priced at ₹28,999.
