Redmi is gearing up to announce the successor of the Redmi A1 and Redmi A1+. The brand is working on the Redmi A2 series, which will be announced soon. The Redmi A2 series includes two models – Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+. Indeed, the Redmi A2 has been approved for TDRA, NBTC, and TUV certifications. Whereas, Redmi A2+ has been approved on TDRA and NBTC certification. Eventually, both devices have now been spotted at TUV certification. Moreover, the specifications, design, and European price have already been leaked.
The Redmi A2 has the following model number: 23028RN4DG. Meanwhile, the Redmi A2+ was also spotted on the TUV certification website with the model 23028RNC.

Redmi A2 Specifications (Expected)
According to reports, the Redmi A2 will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core 12nm CPU. The chipset has a clock speed of 2.2GHz maximum and it comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with a 512 GB expandable microSD card. It will feature a 6.52 inches IPS liquid-crystal display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels.
The camera section has an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP telephoto sensor. On the front, it could come with a 5MP snapper. Regarding Power and Charging, Redmi A2 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging technology. Moreover, the device features a single speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, it comes with Android 13 (Go Edition) out of the box. As a result, we could see the official announcement for the global variant very soon.
