After months of waiting, Xiaomi has finally pushed the Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 update for the Redmi Note 9S. The MIUI 12.5 update brings several changes to the device. Apart from the changes, it also enhances smartphone security. Xiaomi also bumped up the security patch to September 2021. The new update comes with the build number V12.5.1.0.RJWMIXM houses bundles of features to the smartphone.

Download and install Android 11 update for Redmi Note 9S
After downloading the update file, move the same to the root storage of your Redmi Note 9S.
Then, navigate to Settings and tap on About Phone, and choose the MIUI Version option.
Now, tap on the three-dot icon, which you can see on the top right corner of your device.
Then, choose the Choose Update Package and navigate and choose the downloaded update file.
Once the update package is verified, your device will start updating to Android 11. Upon finishing the process has ended, your Xiaomi device will perform a restart.
