A few days ago two new Redmi devices 2303CRA44A and 23030RAC7Y appeared on EEC confirming them as “Redmi” branded devices. Today, the Redmi 2303CRA44A surfaced on FCC confirming a lot about the upcoming device. The listing confirms it as the repacked version of the Redmi Note 11S. Apart from the documentation, and details about its battery, it even confirms what changes have been made in comparison to the Redmi Note 11S. Considering the recent leaks, this could launch as Redmi Note 12S.

The FCC listing confirms the presence of 67W fast charging support i.e. it replaces the MDY-11-EZ charger on the Redmi Note 11S with the new MDY-14-EU/EK/EL charger on the Redmi 2303CRA44A (~ Redmi Note 12S). The MDY-14-EU is confirmed to be the 67W charger meanwhile the EK and EL variants are not confirmed. Additionally, the MDY-14-EV/ER/EU charging adapters are 67W, MDY-14-ED is 120W and is applicable for higher altitudes, and MDY-14-EC is a 90W charger.
Further, there’s a change in the Rear Camera of the phone, but we don’t have the exact details with us.
A document in the listing confirms Issue No. W7L-P21100026RF12 of FCC which was Redmi Note 11S as the Original release. (Note: We have added supporting document confirming Issue No W7L-P21100026RF12 as Redmi Note 11S).
Some live images of the device have also appeared, flaunting both the rear and front design of the smartphone. It purely resembles the Redmi Note 11S which flaunts a quad-rear camera with an LED flash. However, there’s a punch-hole camera present at the top-center of the device. Further, we can see a 3.5mm audio jack, IR Sensor, and speaker grill on the upper side of the smartphone.
Apart from this, the Redmi 2303CRA44A (~Redmi Note 12S)will come with the same specifications as the Redmi Note 11S if we conaider above documents. So, in that case the new device will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The smartphone will bundle Helio G96 SoC with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB storage options.
The name of the Redmi 2303CRA44A is most probably Redmi 12S. We expect more details to surface in the coming few days.
