Despite being the fact, that the Realme X7 duo was launched in February, it comes pre-installed with Android 10 based Realme UI 1.0. However, the company did mention that the flagship will receive the Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 in Q2 this year. Keeping to its words, Realme is sending the early access update of the latest build to the Realme X7, following the X7 Pro.
The company made this announcement via an official community post. The post mentions that in order to enroll themselves for the Early Acess Program, the users should be running version number RMX3092PU_11.A.14 / 11.A.16 or 11.A.17.
If you own a Realme X7 and want to register for the program, head over to Settings -> Software Update -> Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner -> Trial Version -> Submit your details -> Apply Now.
However, Realme says that it can not promise that every applicant will receive the update. The program will roll out based on certain factors like network communication and strategy adjustment.
The Chinese giant is also providing an alternative to switch back to Android 10 if users are not satisfied with the experience. But this will result in complete data loss and the device will not be eligible to receive the Realme UI Beta update.
Prior to register for the program, keep in note that this is an early beta access program and not a Stable roll-out. The stable Android 11 update will hit the Realme X7 units by the next month.
