Despite launching Realme X7 Pro this year, the phone comes pre-installed with Android 10 based Realme UI 1.0. The recently launched smartphone just crossed the Realme UI 2.0 Beta 8 update. At the moment, Realme has released the Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 early access program for the Realme X7 Pro units.

The early access program is only available for the users who are running the firmware version RMX2121PU_11.A.14. However, the Chinese giant says that it can not promise that every applicant will receive the update. The program will be sent based on certain factors like network communication and strategy adjustment.
Realme prescribes the users must root their devices before enrolling and have at least 5GB of free storage. Also, the company suggests users keep a backup of their personal data before flashing the update to prevent any loss by chance.
However, users may not be able to use various features after updating their devices to Realme UI 2.0 early access build. Realme recommends users opt for button-based navigation, instead of gestures-based navigation as the new build will disable the swipe-up gestures. But the company assures users to bring back gesture navigation with future updates.
Adding on to this, the Chinese giant is also providing an alternative to switch back to Android 10. But keep in note that it will result in complete data loss and the device will not be eligible to receive the Realme UI Beta update.
If you own a Realme X7 Pro and want to register for the program, head over to Settings -> Software Update -> Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner -> Trial Version -> Submit your details -> Apply Now.
Prior to this, take into consideration that this is an early beta access program and not a Stable roll-out. The stable Android 11 update will hit the Realme X7 Pro units by the next month.
