Realme launched one of its best-selling mid-range smartphone duo, Realme X7, and Realme X7 Pro in September 2020. Today, Realme China’s Vice President Wang Wei confirmed that Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition is going to add to the duo. The new handset flaunts a 90Hz AMOLED display that powers Dimensity 1000+. The smartphone tends to borrow some of the specifications from the Realme X7 Pro.
Display: Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition features a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen supporting a 90Hz refresh rate with a Full HD+ resolution of 92.1 percent and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The phone displays a curved edge design that measures 7.8mm in thickness and weighs 170 grams.
Processor: The smartphone powers the latest Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. Dimensity 1000+ chipset fuels the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition coupled with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.
Camera: The handset carries a triple camera module consisting of a 64MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and a macro camera with a 4cm focal length. The ultrawide shooter also offers a 119-degree FOV while the front houses a punch-hole display with a 32MP camera.
Storage and Battery: Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition is available in two storage variants of 128GB/8GB RAM and 256GB/12GB RAM. It packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. The smartphone gets fully charge in 35 minutes as claimed by the company. Moreover, to prevent overheating, the phone indulges a VC liquid cooling technology.
The smartphone will arrive in vibrant colors like Castle Sky and Black Clever Forest. The upper variant of Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition is priced at 2,599 Yuan (~$396) while the lower one stands at 2,299 Yuan (~$350). It is already listed for reservations on retailer platforms like Realme China’s online store, JD.com, Tmall, and Suning.
