A couple of months back, Realme X7 Max was officially released featuring a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display protected by Dragontrail Glass. Under the hood, it equips an Octa-core processor-based Dimensity 1200 5G chipset. The smartphone ships with Android 11, Realme UI 2.0 out of the box paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Realme X7 Max equips a triple camera module at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor and a 16MP snapper for selfies.

- [December 11, 2023]: The Realme X7 Max 5G has started to receive a new firmware update in India. This Realme UI update has a firmware version of RMX3031_13.1.0.166(EX01) and brings the October 2023, November 2023, and December 2023 Android security patches to the device.
- [August 18, 2023]: Realme started rolling out its Realme UI 4.0 incremental update for Realme X7 Max 5G. The update has arrived with its own identification build number, which is as RMX3031_13.1.0.143(EX01) firmware number. This update also installs the August 2023 security update, which fixed all the bugs and known issues.
- [May 26, 2023]: Realme X7 Max 5G is receiving a new firmware update with version RMX3031_11.F.13. The update brings April and May 2023 Security Patch for the smartphone. Official changelog:
