The BBK owned Realme has started rolling out the July 2020 Security Patch update for a set of smartphones. Recently, it released the updates for Realme X50 Pro and Realme X50m 5G. The update for Realme X50 Pro is spinning out only in European markets. Whereas, X50m 5G update is currently limited to Chinese users only. Last week, the company has rolled out a similar update for the Realme X50 Pro Indian variant.
Realme X50 Pro update
Forthcoming to the X50 Pro’s update, it fuels up with new features like Autoplay feature and 5G Switch toggles. The update brings fixes for status bar flickering and lower volume when connected to any external devices, NFC file transfer issues. Besides this, the company has also included several optimizations to increase the performance and stability of the smartphone.
The update is rolling out as RMX2076EU_11.A.28 build number and it comes with both July and June 2020 Security Patch.
Realme X50m 5G update
Realme X50m 5G update comes with the July Security Patch, Optimizations, and Fixes for known issues. It brings fixes for the freezing & flickering problem, and few crashes. Apart from these, there are no new features were included in the device in this update. The update is hitting all the devices as the RMX2141_11.A.08 Firmware version.
The updates are rolling out via OTA in phases. So, it takes a few days to reach all the units. However, you can check the update status manually by navigating to Settings>Software updates>Check for updates.
