January 5, 2020 release seems very likely due to the fact that just a few days ago Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase posted on Chinese social media site, Weibo indicating that Realme X50 launch is 20 days away and it calculates to January 5. However, a January 15 release date is also a possibility considering that Chinese companies commonly release their smartphones on Tuesdays and January 15 falls on Tuesday, so don’t be surprised if the smartphone releases on the 15th of the next month. In both the cases, Realme’s first 5G smartphone release date is approaching fast and we’re quite excited to get our hands on the device.
The upcoming Realme X50 is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. Itis paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. The smartphone is expected to flaunt a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a powerful 4,500mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 fast charge and wireless charging support that is capable of charging the smartphone up to 70 percent in just 30 minutes.
