Realme Narzo 10 starts receiving May 2020 Security patch update with some usual optimizations

It’s been quite some days since Realme launched Narzo 10 series in India. In such a short span, the Realme has started receiving its second update bearing the firmware version RMX2040_11_A.17, after the rollout of A.15 rollout a few days ago. The new update brings various new advancements including the latest May 2020 security patch and some camera fixes.

The update is rolling out in India and weighs over 2.81 GB in size. The RMX2040_11_A.17 update optimizes the front camera clarity in some scenes. The update improves the overall stability and security of the smartphone.

The OTA is rolling out in a staggered manner and will reach each unit within the next few days or weeks. You can even manually check the update by heading to the Settings  > About menu. We suggest you switch to the WiFi network to save additional data costs on the carrier networks.

Realme Narzo 10 recently received RMX2040_11_A.15 update which disabled the Smart Assistance feature.

However, Realme is promptly releasing May 2020 Security patch updates to almost every high-end and mid-range smartphone. Realme 5i, Realme 5. Realme 5S, Realme C1, Realme 2, Realme 6, Realme 3 and 3i, Realme 2 Pro, Realme 6i, and C3 have received the May security update.

Realme Narzo 10 features

Realme Narzo 10 was launched on May 11 with MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, 4GB RAM, 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It houses a large 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with 480 nits maximum brightness and 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. there’s a quad-rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultrawide, 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel B/W sensor. A 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging is present on board.
