Realme is gearing up to launch the successor series of Realme 8— Realme 9 lineup. The series is said to include four models— Realme 9, Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro+. Recently, the vanilla Realme 9 5G made an appearance on the FCC certification.
The Realme 9 5G will bear the model number RMX3388. The phone will be an upper model from the Realme 9i with 18W of fast charging support. Further, the device could be a rebadged Realme 8 as the device is electronically identical to the original equipment.
Taking about the design, the Realme 9 5G will house three lenses inside a rectangular camera module on the rear. On the other side, the panel will feature a hole-punch display at the top left corner. The volume keys and power button will be placed on the left and right edge respectively. In addition, the bottom edge will equip a 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker grille, and a USB Type-C port.
Considering Realme 9 5G is a rebranded Realme 8, it could feature a 6.5-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. For the optics, it is likely to carry a 48MP or a 64MP primary sensor alongside a couple of 2MP depth and macro units.
For the record, the company has already launched Realme 9i in India. Although there’s no official launch timeline for the budget smartphones. The standard Realme 9 5G and the Realme 9 Pro series will also debut soon.
