Qualcomm has introduced the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform at the Snapdragon Summit 2022 event held in Hawaii. Interestingly, several smartphone brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, Motorola, iQOO, Vivo, and Oppo have already officially confirmed that their upcoming smartphone will be featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. More brands will be joining the list soon such as Realme, Samsung, and more.

Eventually, OnePlus has confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 11 series will be the first smartphone to make its debut with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The OnePlus 11 series is expected to launch in Q1 of 2023.
Another Chinese smartphone brand, Xiaomi has revealed that the upcoming Xiaomi 1314 series will be loaded with the new flagship Qualcomm mobile platform.
Both OnePlus and Xiaomi are likely to announce their upcoming number series by the end of 2022.
Moreover, REDMAGIC has officially confirmed that the upcoming REDMAGIC 8 Pro will be the first gaming smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform.
Furthermore, a Lenovo-owned company, Motorola China on Weibo has recently confirmed that the Moto X40 will feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. As we reported earlier about the Moto X40 specifications and other features, it is now confirmed by the brand itself.
Oppo in a recent tweet released a poster for the upcoming Find X series smartphone that says “OPPO’s Next Find X flagship Smartphone – Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 – Stay Tuned”. Also, iQOO 11 will be joining the list as one of the smartphones to get powered with the flagship chipset.
The South Korean smartphone brand is also working on the Galaxy 23 series that will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Above mentioned commercial smartphone brands are gearing up to bring the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform with their upcoming smartphone to the global markets.
