In August 2016, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone was launched in India. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a flagship device that comes with some very interesting specs and a killer price. The smartphone is available in two variants: 2 GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage model priced at CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 9,000), and a 3 GB of RAM and 64GB storage model priced at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 12,000). It will be available in Silver, Gray, Gold variants.
Display and Design
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes with 5.5 inches full-HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. Its display resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels with a pixel density of 401 ppi and 2.5D curved glass. It measures 151 x 76 x 8.4 mm (5.94 x 2.99 x 0.33 in) with Weight 175 g (6.17 oz).
Hardware and Software
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone runs Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow). It inbuilts Snapdragon 625, octa-core 2.0GHz with a Mali-T880 GPU. The phone comes in three variants i.e. 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. Whereas 64 GB internal storage comes with 4GB of RAM only.
Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone has 5 MP selfie camera on the front and a 13 MP main camera on the rear. It comes with great features like sensor size, pixel size, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama, phase detection auto focus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The rear facing primary camera is capable of the 1080p@30fps, 720p@120fps video recording.
Battery and Connectivity
The smartphone is a dual sim device (Nano-SIM + Micro-SIM) slot. Connectivity options on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 include 4G LTE – as well as VoLTE support – Wi-Fi 802.11, GPS/ A-GPS A-GPS, Infrared port, Bluetooth v4.2, USB micro USB v2.0, USB On-The-Go.
