The Xiaomi launched its two new budget smartphones that are Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is available in Black, Gold, Light Blue, and Rose Gold colour variants. The smartphone price is CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 9,700) for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant price is CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 12,700).
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus comes with the 5.99 inches, 92.6 cm2 IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. It has a display resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels with a pixel density of 403 ppi. The touchscreen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The dimension measures at 158.5 x 75.5 x 8.1 mm (6.24 x 2.97 x 0.32 in) with a weight of 180 g (6.35 oz).
