The Samsung has launched its two new smartphones that are Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018). The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) comes in the Black, orchid grey, gold, and blue colour variants. It has a price tag of 500 EUR (roughly Rs. 39,032).
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) comes with the 5.6 inches, 79.6 cm2 Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display. It has a display resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels with a pixel density of 441 ppi. The dimensions of the phone measures at 149.2 x 70.6 x 8.4 mm (5.87 x 2.78 x 0.33 in) with a weight of 172 g (6.07 oz). The smartphone builds with the Front/back glass with aluminium frame. It is certified with IP68 – dust/ water-proof over 1.5 meters and 30 minutes. The phone is a Dual SIM device that accepts a Nano-SIM. The display is the shield with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) runs on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system. It inbuilt Exynos 7885 Octa chipset and Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) processor. It is embedded to spot of Mali-G71 GPU. The phone has a 4 GB of RAM. It packs a 32 GB/64 GB of internal storage that can be expandable of up to 256 GB via micro SD card.
As coming to the camera section, the Galaxy A8 (2018) packs a 16 MP primary camera and Dual 16 MP + 8 MP secondary camera for shooter selfies and video calling. The primary camera is capable of 1080p@30fps video recording. It includes Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. The phone has a powerhouse of Li-Ion 3000 mAh capacity with the Non-removable battery. It has a feature of Fast battery charging option which is quite superb.
