Xiaomi is dedicatedly seeding out updates to its eligible devices. The company is still working on its latest skin, MIUI 12 with all-new features. Presently, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco X2 is receiving MIUI 12 in India accompanied by the February 2021 security patch.
The update brings the MIUI V12.1.3.0.RGHINXM is based on Android 11. Although, the operating system’s version remains unchanged. Moreover, the changelog does not mention any changes or additions in particular.
The update is rolling out via OTA, so the users in India have to wait a while till it reaches the device or can flash it manually by heading to the phone’s settings > software update > check for update.
MIUI 12 is the most polished interface of Xiaomi and has a lot to offer ranging from the interface to performance. Let’s take a look at the features in brief:
Xiaomi packed Poco X2 with Qualcomm SDM730 Snapdragon 730G powered by Android 10. The device was launched last year in February featuring an IPS LCD display with a 6.67-inch screen which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 shield. It is available in three storage variants i.e; 64 GB + 6 GB RAM, 128 GB + 6 GB RAM and 256 GB + 8 GB RAM. Moving to the camera, Poco X2 houses a quad lens consisting a 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors. At the front, it carries a dual 20 MP wide + 2 MP depth lens.
