[Update: August 2023 Security Update For POCO M5] Poco M5 and Poco M5s Update Tracker

On September 5, Xiaomi introduced the POCO M series – the POCO M5 and POCO M5s. The Poco M5 is outfitted with a MediaTek Helio G99 and a 90Hz display. POCO M5 sports a front-facing camera with a waterdrop notch, whereas POCO M5s has a punch-hole notch. Both phones have the same design as previous Xiaomi phones. The basic variant of the POCO M5 and POCO M5s costs around 12,499 INR and 16690 INR, respectively

[August 21, 2023]: POCO M5 will be receiving firmware updates to version  V14.0.8.0.TLUMIXM. The POCO M5 bring the August 2023 Security Patch and the update is running out globally.

[March 23, 2023]: Xiaomi is rolling out the latest Android 13-based MIUI 14 major software update for POCO M5. The MIUI 14 update for POCO M5 devices in Europe has arrived with build version V14.0.1.0.TLUEUXM, according to Input Revealing. Additionally, new features and software improvements are included in the package.

[January 26, 2023]: POCO M5s will be receiving firmware updates to version  V13.0.5.0.SFFMIXM. The POCO M5s bring the December 2022 Security Patch and the update is running out globally.
