The Xiaomi owned Poco has today launched a new smartphone in it’s ‘M’ series which is named as Poco M3. Talking about the core features of the smartphone, it appears with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, waterdrop-style display notch, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The device sports a 6.53-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 90.34 percent screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, the display of the smartphone is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass. It powered by an Octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC Chipset. The Poco M3 is available in two variants – 4GB + 64GB Storage variant and 4GB + 128GB storage variant. Furthermore, it can be expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card.
In terms of camera, there’s a triple rear camera setup that includes 48-MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.79, 2-MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and 2-MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calling, it packs a 8-MP with a f/2.05 aperture.
Poco M3 runs MIUI 12 based Android 10 out of the box and equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack port. The smartphone weighs nearly 198 grams.
