Xiaomi is working on a new major update for Poco F1. reportedly, the new update will feature 960 fps slow-mo video recording and several other new advancements. After, the sudden focus of major OEMs on smartphone’s camera capabilities, Xiaomi is also working to endeavor Poco F1 camera with advanced features.
There are plenty of other things that Xiaomi will incorporate in the new update for Poco F1. It will include night scene mode to assist users to snap outstanding low light photos. There will be several fixes for issues arising from a recent update. It will fix the battery drain and touch issues from the Poco F1.
The update information has been revealed by a recent tweet from Manmohan Chandolu, Poco India General Manager. He tweeted about the upcoming update that is set to hit the device in the next couple of weeks. Manmohan Chandolu even confirmed about the 4K video recording at 60 fps feature which is slated to hit the devices in February. They are developing support to bring Widevine L1 for Poco F1 users.
Additionally, Xiaomi Poco F1 received TWRP official support. So, get ready for third-party development and Mods. It made official debut last year with 6.18-inch HD+ display coupled with Snapdragon 845 and 8 GB RAM. It hosts a dual camera module of 12+5 MP on the rear side and a 20 MP on the front side.
