Xiaomi is rolling out a new update to a recently launched, cheapest Snapdragon 845 SoC powered device, Poco F1. Xiaomi is providing the Poco F1 MIUI 9.6.22 version via an OTA update. It is the same update which was stopped last week after the initial rollout, and now there are some changes in the update. As per the changelog, it carries August Security patch and some fixes for significant bugs in the Poco F1 system.
Amid of the MIUI 10 global rollout, Xiaomi is giving a small update to the MIUI 9 on Poco F1. The update weighs around 423 MB in size and is now on your way in India. It is expected to come with face unlock feature for users in Bangladesh, France, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Spain.
The new update brings many fixes, and among them, Xioami has emphasized to fix the camera, phone, and recorder issues. It also removes Mi Roaming from the Poco F1 as it was causing bugs and affecting the launch time of several apps. The update also packs the August Security patch which will enhance your device’s security.

The Poco F1 runs on Snapdragon 845 with 6/8GB of RAM. It supports 64GB/128GB and 256GB of internal storage. It features 6.18 inch of a display having a notch and 12 MP+ 5 MP of the dual camera on the rear side. There’s a 20 MP selfies camera on the front side with some built-in AI effects and features.
