Xiaomi’s spin-off brand is gearing up to launch a new Poco smartphone in the market. Recently, a new device by the company with model number 2207117BPG made it to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Though the FCC website does not reveal the smartphone’s name. But, it divulges that the phone will be a rebranded Redmi Note 10S variant. Besides the supported model number, the listing reveals a few connectivity details, operating systems onboard, and storage variants.

The upcoming Poco 2207117BPG will be a 4G device, suggesting that it will be an entry-level or a budget smartphone. On the software front, the handset will arrive with MIUI 13 out of the box. Considering the skin iteration, it is likely to arrive with the Android 12 operating system. In addition, the portal mentions the support for dual-band WiFi as well.

As for storage configurations, the 4G-powered smartphone will arrive in three variants: 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB. Further, the listing tips that the device will be available in a blue colour option. However, we can expect the company to price with more colour choices.

In case the Poco 2207117BPG is a rebranded Redmi Note 10S, it may feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The Redmi Note 10S runs Mediatek Helio G95 under the hood. In terms of optics, the handset carries a 64MP quad rear camera. Alongside, there’s an 8MP ultrawide lens and a couple of 2MP sensors for macro and depth. At the front, a 13MP unit serves selfies and video chats.
