Panasonic is stepping into the Smartphone market again by launching its latest budget device, the Panasonic P55 Max today in India. The phone is priced at INR 8499 which is around $139. Looking at the price range, it could be considered as a rival to the recently launched Moto E4 Plus which is also priced below INR 10000.
While both phones have a massive 5000mAh and similar configurations like a 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel selfie camera. The Panasonic is relatively cheaper than the Moto E4 Plus. The only difference between the two budget phones is that the Panasonic P55 Max does not have a fingerprint sensor like the Moto E4 Plus.
The Panasonic P55 Max has a HD display with a Quad core MediaTek MT6737 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 128 GB. It also supports 4G VoLTE and Bluetooth 4.0. The Panasonic P55 Max is running on Android Nougat 7.0 Out of the box while the Moto E4 Plus came pre installed with a newer version, 7.1.1.
The phone is exclusively available for purchase on Flipkart starting from today. It is available in two colours including black and gold.
If you don’t care enough for the fingerprint sensor and would like to save a few thousand rupees, then you could choose the Panasonic P55 Max over the Moto E4 Plus. It also offers 5% discount if you use Axis bank credit card for purchasing the phone.
