Panasonic has now unveiled a new entry-level Android Phone under the Eluga series known as Panasonic Eluga C. The Mediatek powered device will be initially available in Taiwan at TWD 6000($200). It will soon be released in other markets as well. The main highlight of the phone is Ultra-thin bezels at the top and a dual-camera setup being main attractions of it.
Regarding the design of Eluga C, it’s a sort of hybrid indeed. As it flaunts almost bezel-less nature at the top while possessing considerable amount of bezels on the chin. Nevertheless, Panasonic has housed a front-mounting fingerprint on the home button. Moreover, Panasonic claims the fingerprint sensor to be advanced and faster that can unlock the device in just 0.3s.
Moving on to the hardware specifications that Eluga C has to offer. The device wears a 5.5 inch S-IPS LCD display. At its heart lies a MediaTek MT6750T chipset clocked at 1.5GHz. For data storage, it has incredible 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated memory slot that can handle upto 256GB microSD.
The Dual camera setup at the rear comprises of 13MP wide-angle sensor and a 5MP telephoto lens with f/2.2 aperture. The both lenses combinedly produces brilliant photographs with DSLR like effects. While at the front, an 8MP selfie camera resides on the bottom bezel similar to Xiaomi Mi Mix’s. The Eluga C boots Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box.
