OnePlus has recently promised they are working on bringing the OnePlus 6’s front Camera portrait mode to other OnePlus devices as well. It can be done as the front portrait mode is entirely based on software processing. Considering the old record of the brand we can say that it is generous towards its old handsets as well. This time a new update has been announced for the OnePlus 5 and 5T handsets. If you are using the following handsets then don’t go anywhere as everything here would be helpful for you.
The new update is termed as OxygenOS 5.1.4 and this update won’t gonna change the Android version of your device. It is basically an update developed to provide refinement, optimization and a couple of new features. The major highlight of this update is a feature called group messaging. This particular update also brings the fresh July 2018 security patch to the two devices. Along with these features, some improvements to the camera of OnePlus 5 and 5T have also been made.
To get more juice out of your remaining battery OnePlus has provided a Sleep Standby Optimization mode, it will help users to save battery in tough situations. Currently, this update will roll out to a majority of users and if they will find this software version free from bugs and problems then OnePlus will start its official rollout to all devices. This update will release as an OTA so you can wait for it to arrive on your device. For more Android news stay tuned to GoAndroid.
