OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 2 arrives for OnePlus 10R, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro

OnePlus is rolling out OxygenOS 13 Open Beta update for compatible smartphones across the globe. Under the same program, the Chinese smartphone maker is not rolling out the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 2 update for the OnePlus 10R, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. These devices have already received the Open Beta 1 update a while ago.

If you are someone who enjoys early access to the software and is quite active in the OnePlus community, then you can join the Open Beta program. Details of the new OS update specific to the device are mentioned below.

OnePlus 10R

OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 2 is now rolling out for the OnePlus 10R. However, if you are interested to install Open Beta 2, make sure your device is running OxygenOS 12 version (A.08/10). Below are some known issues:

Known Issues

•  The device will fail to project to the TV even after the Google box is connected.

•  The status bar cannot be pulled down in some scenarios.

•  Time is displayed abnormally in the Control Center.

•  The video recorded with slow motion is stuck in some scenarios. 

OnePlus 9R

The devices designated with OxygenOS 12 version (C.35/36) can get the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 2. The smartphone must be running OxygenOS 12 version (C.35/36) to install the latest OOS 13 Open Beta 2. Below are some known issues that you might suffer:

Known Issues

 • Charging icon is displayed abnormally on the lock screen in some scenarios.

• The voice-to-text function cannot be opened by gestures in some scenarios.

• In order to use the Jio 5G function, your device needs to be rebooted again after the upgrade.

OnePlus 8T

The same update is also rolling out for the OnePlus 8T smartphone. There are some known issues with the update, but the device is usable. However, you should be using OxygenOS 12 version (C.35/36) on your phone to enjoy the latest update. 

Known Issues

 • Abnormal display of charging prompt on the lock screen.

 • The timing function of the life mode is not displayed normally.

 • Black screen would happen while opening the camera in the chat of messenger..

OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro

OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro with OxygenOS 12 version (C.35/36) can install the latest OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 2 Update. There are some known issues like the OnePlus 8T above. So, make sure you have data backup as the build is not stable.
