Just a day back, Oppo rolled out the June 2020 Security Patch update for Reno 2F, 2Z, and Find X series. Now, the company has pushed a similar update for Reno 2 smartphones. The CPH1907EX_11_A.41Â update is currently limited to Indian users only. As the update is already live in India, it shouldn’t take much time to release in all other countries.
What’s new?
Forthcoming to the update, the company has not provided any Changelog of the present update. So, there’s no information regarding new features. However, you will be experiencing them while using the device if added. As of now, the update is rolling out on Android 9 based ColorOS 6. While all other Oppo devices got a similar update on ColorOS 7 version. Nevertheless, the device will be updated to ColorOS 7 by the end of this month.

The OTA update is rolling out in batches, so, it takes time to hit each and every device. However, you can check the status of the update manually by heading over to Software updates from Settings.
Oppo Reno 2 Specifications
The smartphone was launched back in 2019 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G (8 nm) chipset and 6.5-inch AMOLED display. It couples with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage variants. There’s also a quad-rear camera setup and a 16 MP pop-up selfie camera.
