The 2019 smartphones from OPPO, i.e., the OPPO Reno 10x zoom and OPPO Reno Ace, received the ColorOS 12 Beta update in May 2022, and OPPO announced that they’d push the stable update on June 28. OPPO has fulfilled its promise by pushing the stable ColorOS 12 update (based on Android 12) to smartphones. Both the smartphones were running on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The official announcement of the update came through a community post. The update for OPPO Reno 10x zoom is available in India and China. In comparison, the update for OPPO Reno Ace is limited to China. OPPO has also made sure to push the update for the limited editions of both devices.
Both Oppo Reno FC Barcelona Edition and Oppo Reno Ace Gundam Edition received the update. Since the update is rolling out Over the Air (OTA), reaching all the units will take some time. As mentioned above, the Android 12 update is the third major update for both devices. It will be the last major update to reach the device. Both devices are also the first device from OPPO to receive three significant updates. Meanwhile, you can also check out the ColorOS 12 wallpapers by clicking here.
