Oppo has announced another smartphone and this one is also a different in respect to its thinnest. Its the thinnest LTE smartphone in the world but currently its launching only in China. The Oppo R3 claims the title of thinnest 4G LTE phone with its slender 6.3mm aluminum unibody.
In non-LTE device the thinnest title goes to the 5.5mm Gionee Elife S5.5. The Oppo R3 is equipped with a 5 inch HD display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device is powered by a quad core 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor from Qualcomm. Also there’s a 2420mAh battery, 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. Other features include an 8MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera and a microSD card slot.
It is also said to have the ability to capture 50-megapixel quality photos via ‘Super Zoom’ feature. It packs 5.0-megapixel 80-degree wide-angle camera on the front.
The Oppo R3 is priced at CNY 2299 (approximately Rs. 21,800) and will be available later this month in China. It comes in two colour options – Black and White. At present there are no details on the global release of the smartphones by Oppo.
